My fridge is rarely empty!
THE STORAGE AREAS OF A VEGAN
This is probably one of the most important criteria that I had to master in order to succeed as a vegan! Not only did my pantry need to be clean and organized, but it also needed to be stocked and ready to go.
*I have been storing apples, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, peaches and cantaloupe and many more fruits and vegetables in the fridge like this. Mason jars do not smell once cleaned because they are glass. There is no lingering smell and they don't stain. Grapes, celery, cucumbers etc... are kept very well in mason jars. I have been doing this for over 10 years. You can purchase the small, medium, large or Xtra large size ball jars, all work great! Cutting the fruit and vegetables up and then putting them inside the ball jars allows me to grab n' go!
Your pantry or fridge doesn't need to be as extensive as mine, but it might benefit you to include a wide variety of foods to maintain optimum health, as I did. All of the products in the pictures are called "my staple foods", which means that these are the types of foods that I always have on hand, no matter what. There might be a few slight changes & variations, but for the most part it stays the same!
Please visit my other pages to get an understanding of how I store my food. It's not complicated at all, but most first-time Vegans make it complicated. You just need to research and prepare for your grocery shopping. You can't go grocery shopping if you don't have your pantry area set up or containers to put your food in. So, the first step for me was to purchase racks, ball jars, utensils, and cookware. I recommend any of the racks, ball jars, cooking utensils, small appliances, and cast-iron skillets that are listed on this website.
Before you go out and buy all your delicious fruits and vegetables, please take a look at the pictures above. If you have any questions, please refer to the top of this page in the cloud. Click on 'Contact Me' and send me a message.
