There is so much information on this website for you to absorb, so sit back, grab   some coffee or tea, and explore.  If you have any questions about anything, and I mean anything, please do not hesitate to ask.  If you look at the top of this page in the cloud, you will see a contact me button.  Click on it, and it will take you to me

SO, LET'S GET STARTED WITH A "VEGAN STARTER KIT!"
I have to admit, when I first started researching veganism, I was confused.
I literally wanted someone to hold my hand through the whole process.  I searched high and low for a vegan starter kit but came up short.  I read hundreds of websites that offer a vegan starter kit guide or meal plan, but those are far from reality!  Far from reality because some websites that offer those kits would recommend peanuts, soy milk, and other food products.  I understood that those food products they recommended worked for them BUT DID NOT for me.  The problem with their kits is that why would someone even consider recommending food products to a person without speaking to them about nut and milk allergies.  Someone could go into anaphylactic shock and have issues, severe issues.  Everyone is different, and everyone cannot tolerate the same types of foods.  The bottom line is this: I have no idea who even started this vegan starter kit and where it originated from. What I can tell you is this: everything on this website, and I mean everything, has worked for me.  Any suggestions or recommendations, food products, videos etc., etc., etc., have worked for me. YOU need to find what works for you. Common sense would tell you to stay clear of any form of NUTS if you're allergic to them, when in fact, someone suggests they are good for you, and you should consume them...get it!

I STARTED TO LOOK AT VEGANISM LIKE IT WAS A GREAT BIG PUZZLE
* The first thing you do when completing a puzzle, is the border.  Items that
   represent the border on this website are the ball jars, racks, and cast-iron pans.
* Then you work from the inside, and attach pieces to the border, which
   represent your fruits, vegetables, spices, flours, seeds, nuts, milks, and breads.
* Then you start to fill in the middle of the puzzle, which are your staple foods,
   and a constant supply of nutrients.
* Once the puzzle is complete, it's time to soak it all in.  You do more research, more
   tweaking of your pantry items and you will become so creative while                               understanding veganism as a whole.  If you think veganism is going online and             purchasing boxed vegan items or from your local grocery store, more than likely         your transition will be short-lived.  I hate to break it to you people, but minimal           nutrition is in boxed vegan food items.

 MY QUEST FOR A VEGAN STARTER KIT IS SLIM TO NONE > > > IN DETAIL!
I've had many opportunities to look at a lot of vegan starter kits on the internet.  I can honestly say, I didn't find one.  The ones that I came across didn't have a step-by-step guide or even stages to go through.  It was a little bit confusing about what they were really trying to do or offer.  Some starter kits wanted you to purchase a starter shopping list, while others just listed sporadic fruits and vegetables for you to eat. Why a website would charge a person money for a vegan starter kit is beyond me.  After all the research I did to try to find a legitimate vegan starter kit, I came up with nothing.  All the websites offered something different, which made me more confused and irritated!
The reason why I created this website is for those who are a bit lost, confused,
and don't know how to begin, just like I was.  I can understand how you feel, because I was in your shoes in 2007.  I didn't know what to buy, where to begin, how to start, or even the basics of transitioning into the lifestyle of a vegan.

HERE IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO
Go to another tab on your browser and put in, Vegan Starter Kit, and see what you come up with.  After you read a dozen websites that offer starter kits, come back to this page and start right here where you left off, right below where you see the sun. That's how confident I am that you won't find one.
PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE THAT:
*The starter kit is YOU!

*A starter kit cannot be purchased in the store!

*A starter kit is not a PDF file, or a handbook!

*This is where a lot of Vegans don't understand the

   process or are misinformed!

*Example: Why would I give you a list of foods, when most of these items might not                        even be sold at your local grocery store

*Example: Why would I give you a list of foods, if you have Celiacs Disease?

*Example: Why would I give you a list of nuts to buy, if your allergic to nuts?

*ExampleWhy would I give you a list of tofu products to buy, if your allergic to soy?

*Example: Why would I tell you to eat kale if you're on a blood thinner medications?

The only vegan Starter kit is YOU!

HERE IS YOUR VEGAN STARTER KIT BELOW
* You
* Yourself
* Money, and a sweatshirt or jacket, because your going to be spending a lot of time
   in the produce area, literally!

Think about it.  Do you really want me to give you a list of foods to buy? I like to buy the colors of the rainbow, the more colors, the more nutrients, and it works for me.

THE GROCERY STORE

DO NOT BRING THE ITEMS BELOW WITH YOU TO THE GROCERY STORE
* Pen or pencil
* Notebook

Bringing a notebook and a pen to the grocery store is counterproductive.  These items will slow you down, and you will most likely change your food choices the next time you go shopping.  Most first-time vegans realize that they don't need these items and thank me down the road.  Just focus on a lot of fruits and vegetables.  Here are the stages that I went through when transitioning. A step-by-step TRANSITION on MY Beginner Vegan page > > >

GO GROCERY SHOPPING BY YOURSELF, NOT WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND, because:
* You won't get distracted!
* You won't be tempted to buy other things that your friend suggests!
* You can focus!
* You can take your time and spend an hour in the produce section if you like!

If you have any questions at all, look at the top of this page in the cloud, and click
on, contact me, it will take you to my contact page!

Trust me, I have done this with so many of my friends and colleagues.  They call me up and ask me about how they can transition into veganism.  I tell them to search my website and see if this is really what they want and contact me via cell.  They call me for guidance over the course of a few weeks, months, or years.  We go over some other concerns they might have, and they can decide if it's the right path for them.  I don't persuade them in any way, shape or form.  I don't preach to them, nor do I nag them; that's not the type of person I am. They make their decision by themselves.  If they have any questions while they are thinking about it, they know that I'm here for them.
REMEMBER, VEGANISM TAKES A LOT OF:
* Research
* Time
* Prep-work
* Variety
* Creativity
* Stocking up
* And more research!
* It will never end, and that's just one of the things I like about this lifestyle.  It forces
   you to understand your body to the fullest. Obviously, there's much more, but this     is just the beginning of what you will unearth.

A QUICK NOTE ABOUT THE RECIPES ON THIS WEBSITE & ON MY YouTube Page, which can be found right here > > >
They are not meant to be hard; it's not my intention to create recipes with 20 different ingredients.  Nor is it my intention to break your bank or show you my fancy techniques.  The recipes are geared towards nutrient and mineral-dense dishes that most first-time vegans struggle with.  I don't know about you, but when I want to cook a recipe, I don't want to go to the grocery store and buy 20 items on the ingredient list; it's too much.  This is another reason why first-time vegans fail, because they see a recipe on the internet, then they need to go and buy $50.00 worth of ingredients for a single recipe.

YOU WANT TO
* Think simple!
* Think smarter!
* Think healthier!
* And everything will fall into place!

THERE IS ONE THING I WANT TO GET OUT IN THE OPEN BEFORE YOU DECIDE
I am not pushing Veganism onto anyone. You are here at your own will, and no one is holding your hand or forcing you to be here.  In fact, I would hate it if someone tried to push veganism onto me.  I have read too many websites, where people push veganism onto others and try to force them into it.  This is NOT what this website is about.  This website is about making a smooth, healthy transition into the lifestyle. To inform the consumer that their cruelty-free dishes, that taste absolutely wonderful. Hurting animals is not the solution to maintaining a healthy environment 50 years down the road. This website is also about my personal journey, obstacles, and research into the life of veganism.
