My suggestion is this >>> before you go out and buy groceries, it would benefit you to have all your racks, shelves, ball jars, and containers ready to go! GO FORWARD ~ NOT BACKWARDS!

Here is a "failure list" of what first-time Vegans do ~ out of my experience talking with other Vegans:

* Buy their groceries first, and NOT their storage items

* Rush into things to fast, without researching

* NOT having enough space for all their food, so most of it goes to waste

* Eat junk Vegan foods ~ and not choosing healthier option

I have tried several storage racks and narrowed it down to only a couple that I absolutely love.  You don't just go out and buy a rack.  I have over 70 wide-mouth ball jars on my racks, so I needed something heavy-duty.    

 

Here is what I wanted in storage containers:

* BPA free

* Non-toxic

* Chemical free

* Made in the United States

* Dry relatively quick

* Can stack on top of each other

* Foods do not absorb into the jars

* A reputable company

* Made outside the United States

* Contain BPA

* Are toxic

* Include chemicals

* Poorly made

* They crack all the time

* Food gets absorbed into the container itself

* Porous material that lets air seep in  

* Lids are loose

* Cheaply made
