Is popcorn healthy?

Discover the health benefits of popcorn! Learn how this popular snack can be a nutritious choice when prepared the right way.

If you're searching for that perfect snack with high antioxidant properties, here it is!

I consider popcorn to be a power-pack superfood.  One Cup of popped popcorn is packed with Magnesium, Potassium, folate and Vitamin A.  Studies has been shown that there is a tremendous amount of disease fighting ailments in this tiny kernel.

Polyphenols are found in certain types of fruits and vegetables, but there’s one polyphenol specifically found in popcorn, and that is ferulic acid.  This type of polyphenol has cancer-fighting properties, that aid in the destruction of these diseases.  Freshly popped kernels are the way to go!

There are no additional preservatives, hidden chemicals, or toxins in a plain old bag of non-GMO organic popcorn.  So go ahead and indulge in this superfood.  Add your favorite coconut oil or sprinkle on some nutritional yeast.  When eating popcorn, use common sense and don’t drench it in vegetable oil and huge amounts of salt, lol.

People who have diverticulitis and other related diseases should consult with their physician.   If you're at all concerned about non-GMO / organic popcorn, just call the company, and they will be happy to assist you.
