The Peanut
There are several good reasons to eat peanuts. The #1 reason why I eat peanuts is the Omega-6 fatty acid amount. The Omega-6 number is over 4300 mg in 1 ounce, and only 0.8 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids. This is actually really good news, because if you ever need to balance out your Omega-3 & 6, just eat some peanuts. Remember, always consult with your physician or nutritionist when introducing new foods.
