Cloves 

Such a fantastic spice that can be used on just about everything.  I use it a few times a week.  This spice is very potent, and a little bit will go a long way. 

 

A few healthy benefits and tips below, based on 1 teaspoon:

* Vitamin K, needed for clotting and the formation of cartilage

* Vitamin C, helps regenerate Vitamin E, and aides in tissue and wound 

   healing

* Manganese, neutralizes free radicals, proper absorption of calcium 

   and regulates blood sugar

* Potassium, maintains fluid and electrolyte balance

* Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids

* Includes Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and Phosphorus
