Blueberries
The benefits of blueberries are endless. With so many benefits, I don't see a reason why someone would not have a bunch in their fridge. Antioxidant health, immune system booster, and fiber are just a few benefits that come from blueberries.
A few healthy benefits and tips below, based on 1 cup:
* Beta-Carotene, may neutralize free radicals in the body
* Vitamin K, clots your blood
* Folate, maintains blood circulation
* Vitamin A, maintains healthy teeth
* Phosphorus, works together with calcium to build strong bones and teeth
* Potassium, maintains normal blood pressure
* Manganese, responsible for normal growth
Personally, it doesn't matter if they are frozen or fresh. Frozen offers the same, if not more, benefits than fresh. Blueberries are available all year round, so if you see this fruit in the store, you might want to grab some. All food products on this website work for me. Consult with your physician or nutritionist when introducing new foods into your lifestyle.
